Meet the Artist
Maya Webb (Lady May) is the songwriter and storyteller behind a sound she calls Country Soul + Rock and Roll. After writing her 2024 debut album in her backyard with an acoustic guitar, Lady May has hit a new creative stride in 2026. In the past few months, she has written nearly 25 new songs, exploring rhythmic diversity, poetry and new musical terrain. With equal love for Lucinda Williams and Beyoncé, Lady May’s music makes you want to dance, laugh, kiss and cry. She is joined by violinist and multi-instrumentalist Graham Patzner, Los Angeles drummer Michael Musselman, and longtime musical partners Jason Armstrong and Todd Lookinland.
Meet me in the field,
Otilia
Was inspired to write Otilia when I visited the haunted dreamy lands of my best friend Reyna. My great grandmother was Otilia but I wrote it to her young self. Let me know what you think
